Had a family gathering. The cabin was awesome and the service was great. My granddaughter left her glasses behind and they called right away and offered to mail them. Thanks for the great customer service. Very close to local beaches and there's also a trolley that runs everywhere. 5 star rating from me.
My family and I had a great time here - with a couple caveats people might want to know. 6 of us (1 child) rented a pet friendly cabin and 4 more (2 adults, 2 kids) had an RV site. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our cabin was nice and in a quiet corner of the park (aside from the train). Floors were a bit dirty but otherwise clean and comfortable and well equipped. It was nice to have a comfy place for the dogs to hang out while we went to the beaches and such. Location was nice with easy access to the beach (parking lot with short walk), several pools and hot tubs, fishing pond, trails, bouncy things for the kids and more. Now for the caveats. The RV and tent sites are extremely close together with no trees for privacy. There is also a train that runs frequently (including
Note: this review is only for the Adventure Course (and what we saw of the park). We did not stay there. This was the second time we have done the Adventure Park, which consists of treetop obstacles, climbing, ziplines, and the like. Safety is clearly the number one priority and we never saw any lapses. The staff is excellent and really helpful. The variety of things to do, suiting all levels from ages 7 (the minimum age) to 77, is excellent. This place is just excellent!! It took us a couple hours to do most of the course. It is fairly strenuous but not too bad. If you are in the area, you need to go! There are three time slots per day and I think it's best to call ahead (but not totally necessary). It costs around $30 per person, which is well worth it. The park itself is big a
Have been coming here for many years. This year reserved a cottage for a 2 night stay, full payment was required up front. Had a conflict arise, called them 10 days prior to the reservation date and was advised they would retain the full amount for the two night and resort fee and there were no options. Emailed the main office, no response. After yearly visits for many years will look elsewhere.
It is a very nice campground. Good location and close to downtown. It has a shuttle you can take to downtown. The campground also has a lot of things to do on property.
