Suburban Studios Orange Park - Jacksonville near Naval Air Station

BEWARE - STAY AWAY Checked in at 8:40pm Friday February 13th for a non smoking room into first room and the TV did not work. Tried to call front desk but no answer the first call and a hang up on the second call from room phone. Also called on my cellphone but no answer. Drove back to the office and talked with the young man at the front desk who said he has been working at the hotel for 5 months. Told me to unplug the internet box power and plug it back in and wait for the solid green light. I said I am not a tv/cable repair person and asked for another room. He proceeded to tell me he couldn't give me another room and to try the fix he suggested. I respond ok but if it doesn't work you will have to give me another room. It did not work. I drove back to the reservation/check in office and

I will be honest i had prejudice of this particular hotel but the reality is, it's a great location right of the highway. I almost drive right by it because it's tucked in the cut. Bed was comfortable and room was clean, hot shower and space for my laptop to do business. All at an affordable price. I have stayed at many hotels and the courtesy here is top tier. Great service and great room.

Horrible experience. The room had used soap in the shower, stains on the sheets and the tv wasn’t even plugged up. We could smell marijuana through the whole parking lot, but when we checked out, they without our deposit saying the room violated the smoking policy! We did not smoke at all! This is a complete scam they are running. 0/10 no not recommend.

Room was decently clean. All light fixtures did not work. Rooms smelled old. Had it been a room I had to pay for, for more than one night I would have not stayed.

I’m in the process of moving and Finding affordable, safe and clean hotels are not so easy to come by Today. My stay here was peaceful and very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and adorned with chic and modern detail. Can’t forget the fresh coffee In the lobby!
