Cheaper hotel. One serving of coffee in the room. Smoke detector missing, paint was not a professional job, no blow dryer, no shampoo or conditioner provided. Claims to have a kitchenette. It does with a 2 burner cooktop, microwave and full size refrigerator but no silverware, pans, dish towels etc. the plus side is the bed was comfortable and the place is dog friendly. Remember to bring your shampoo and extra coffee if you stay here.

This was a motel, but it seemed to be family-owned and loved and cared for by the owners. There was broken appliances and no trash laying around like I've seen at other motels, and no shady characters when we checked in late at night.||The king-size mattress was comfortable, but the bedspread and blanket were thin. They need to be upgraded to a thicker comforter for warmth. The 3 pillows on the bed were not king-size pillows, but were clean and fluffy. Unfortunately with 2 people, only 1 person gets the 3rd pillow as a back-rest. The air conditioning worked well. There was a decent kitchenette with table & chairs, microwave, and fridge. There was a black-out curtain. It was quiet, but we only stayed on Sunday morning.||There was plenty of parking, with lots of truck parking out in the dirt

The clerk is very sketchy and extremely rude. He told us initially the room would be $60 with a $50 deposit. We left to go to the car in order to get food briefly before returning and he followed us out the office urging us to come back which was odd and he was very persistent. We then came back after getting food and were ready to pay, but he then told us the room would now be $69.99 and “with tax” it would be $85 and in total $135 with the deposit. We questioned the $25 increase and he repeated that it’s $69.99 and with tax $85. When we then questioned the $15 “tax” and asked how long it would take for the deposit to be returned he got aggravated and then told us we should leave and find somewhere else to stay. We started leaving and he then followed us out being combative. Do NOT book

Very nice experience.

We rated this hotel average for several reasons. The bed was very comfortable, the front desk person was helpful, and the water pressure was fantastic. |However, the floors really needed a good mopping, and our room needed basic maintenance on small things (for example: the seal around the bottom of the toilet was peeling away, the side of the outside of the refrigerator was rusted, and many other small items needed addressing. For one night's stay it was fine, and I hope they have time to make the needed basic renovations to turn the corner to an above average room.
