SpringHill Suites by Marriott Statesboro University Area

I visited with friends when they stayed. It's what you'd expect from a good hotel. Nothing wildly out of the ordinary but that's not a bad thing. The rooms were clean and good though the sheets felt a bit stiff (a problem with most hotels I've ever been to to be fair) the young lady at the front seat, her name was Star I believe, certainly lived up to her name and was very friendly, polite & helpful! Much better than some places I've been in recent years. Overall a good experience & would recommend.

This hotel is quite convenient for short stays of a day or two... however, if you're planning to stay longer (like we did for a month), it becomes less convenient since the room lacks a stove and a large refrigerator. On the positive side, the service and staff are very friendly and helpful. The comfortable beds and excellent linens are definitely the highlights of this hotel. One aspect we found unappealing was that used towels and linens are left in the hallway, forcing new guests to navigate through piles of dirty laundry. Additionally, I have a note regarding the kitchen staff responsible for breakfast - they keep a close eye on what you take on your plate and the quantity. Personally, I didn't eat anything there, just brought my own bread to toast, and even then, I felt their watchful

I recently stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so welcoming and always ready to help when needed, making check-in and check-out smooth and ready to answer any questions. The room was very clean, comfortable and well--kept and the location was perfect for exploring Statesboro and Georgia Southern's campus. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone!!

This is a fabulous hotel. The friendly staff anticipated our needs. Our king suite was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and even had night/book lights. The office work area had plenty of space and outlets. Loved the water pressure and bathroom/sink lighting. We didn't use the pool as it was a bit chilly, but did enjoy the outdoor fire pits.

Had a minor issue with our lock but Lesley at the front desk was super quick to react and less than 30 minutes later we got upgraded to a bigger room at no extra charge. Things happen all the time that you can’t help but the staff was super accommodating! Also, Daniel (I think that that was his name) at the breakfast area was super nice to all the kids and had almost all the breakfast items out a little earlier than 7 which was nice with us having kids!
