Hampton Inn Statesboro

Had a great stay at the Hampton. Rooms lacked a bit with a non_fu nctional coffee maker and breakfast was lacking. However er, service was great. Jazz wel comed us upon arrival and helped us in finding a great place for dinner. She went above and beyond in understanding what type of meal we were looking for and directed us to the perfect place.

I have to say that his hotel was by far the cleanest I’ve been in recently. The Hotel Staff were very nice and friendly and i am including the cleaning folks the wonderful woman that cooked an amazing breakfast all the way through to the kind man taking out the trash. A very good place to stay.

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice now. Had great experiences both times. Rooms are clean, perfect for a weekend stay. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Staff is very attentive and nice. The breakfast is wonderful! It had waffles, fruit, boiled eggs, cheese grits, sausage, potatoes, juice etc. My only complaint is that we did notice a small bug crawling on the AC unit when packing up to leave.. looked like a baby roach.

Hotel room was quiet. Hotel was very busy, so I was very thankful that they were able to assign me a room. I left my other hotel because a hotel guest left their dog in the room and the dog barked non stop. So again, very thankful I could get a room at the last minute. The hotel staff is very friendly. The room was clean, but there could have been a bit more cleaning detail to the bathroom. I probably would have given the hotel a 5 star but they forgot housekeeping, however they contacted me to apologize. Hotel is close to shopping and the university. Definitely recommend for business travelers and parents visiting their GSU students.
