Studio 6 Arlington, TX

I only gave service 2 stars because the man at the desk did not argue when we asked for a refund. First, the parking lot is dark, and we arrived late. The place does not look like the pictures at all. The layout is weird, it felt sketchy trying to find our room. When we got to the roaches room, our room, we woke the roaches up when turning on the light. The cabinet was filled with dirty dishes. My husband had to kill roaches with the room key. We immediately went back and requested a refund. He did try to put us in a different room, stating the room must have not been cleaned, so why put a customer in a uncleaned room? This is the third stay I’ve had at a Studio 6. The other 2 were far nicer than this one, but that’s not to say this was bad… just old!||I’m giving an average rating based on the age of the hotel and the rooms. I have no issues with clientele or long-stay residents. We stayed in Arlington as it seemed an ideal middle-location between Dallas and Fort Worth. I imagine that it would be an ideal location if you were going to Six Flags as it’s really close to the park.||When we checked in, the staff member on reception seemed a little taken aback by the fact we had a reservation: “hello”, “hi, we have a reservation”, “oh”. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience at this hotel. We found bed bugs in our room in the middle of the night. They were able to switch us rooms, which was nice. But overall, the hotel was not clean and we were not offered a refund.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go here. Me and 3 other people were going to stay here, and one asked the front desk receptionist if there were bugs and she said no. We proceeded to go search high and low in the room, but right when we walked in there were roaches straight up in eye sight. Safe to say, we got our refund, but that’s because we said if we found bugs we wanted a refund.

I've been staying weekly, for 6 weeks and the housekeepers are rude and lazy! I left to visit family for three days, when I came back the housekeepers only made one bed and threw the covers on the other! They didn't sweep or mop the floor AND there's but prints on my bed like someone sat on it( the one they put covers on)! All they have to do is make the clean the beds, take the trash out, sweep, and mop🤬 I'm paying $468.02 a week!!!!! And it's roaches!!!🫵🏽
