Eh, reasonably maintained trails. Not brilliant. Shared with downhillers and narrow such that snowshoes have no option but to break the groves for classic cross country, which is annoying. I think for enjoyable cross country look elsewhere. Will try von Trapp tomorrow. Oh also, save yourself the absurd $38 fee and remember there is a half day pass starting at 1. Although the desk attendant mentioned they only offer this when their supervisor isn’t present. I guess the supervisor is a nickel and dime sort of guy (cheating people for that $4 per person!)

I do not recommend going here if you are a beginner skier. The green trails have very large hills. $57 is absurd for what were very outdated skate ski rentals. Trails were a little narrow and not great for skating. For better trails, rental equipment, grooming, AND all of that for a lower price, go to von Trapp’s

Great experience skiing after the latest snowfall, trails offered wonderful views and serene atmosphere in the forest The Nordic Center itself was very cozy, people thete were very helpful, and we were able to get rentals quickly even without pre-booking Highly recommend!

★★★☆☆ 3.0 Nisha Basu · Feb 2025

Nice green trail for classic skiing. However don’t come here to skate ski. They don’t have a wide enough groomer. Also only half the trails were open and we were charged the full amount (which was more expensive than Trapp which had all their trails open even in the blizzard).

★★★★★ 5.0 J. Gregory Gerdel · Mar 2024

The trail system is at an elevation that catches and holds snow-cover even during a winter that has been disappointing at lower elevations. Trail grooming is first class and maintained daily. Many backcountry options when conditions are right.
