Stone Village Tourist Camp

I have stayed twice at Stone Village Tourist Camp and on both visits found it to be charming and to suit our needs perfectly. The rooms are clean, beds and pillows comfortable and so nice and quiet! The grounds are so pretty with hummingbirds flying about and it's very convenient to just walk right next door for any incidentals you might require. The microwave and coffee maker in our room were nice and worked perfectly for us. The cleaning staff kept us well supplied with towels and Randall in the office was helpful and accommodating. This is the ONLY place we will stay on our visits to Fort Davis.

The perfect stay on my journey. Though it does not have a microwave or fridge or breakfast, the comfortable bed provided the needed good sleep. Clean, comfortable, perfect.|Thank you Stone Village Tourist camp for sending me on my refreshed and ready.

I recently stayed in Cottage 4. The mattress was way overdue for replacement. Other than that the room was exceptionally clean, staff friendly and housekeeping was top notch.

Fort Davis has always been a special place for my family and I. We always stay at Stone Village. A few weeks ago my daughter and I rented a room and spent the night. The next morning when we were leaving, I was trying to get my senior dog comfortable in the car and forgot my cane. This cane was made special by a close friend of the family. It has been in our family for a while, it means a lot to me. I didn't realize that I had left it until we got home and were unloading the car. My daughter called and explained how important it was to me and how upset I was.These people went above and beyond and mailed it to me. They packaged it like it was a fragile piece of china. There was 3 of us staying in one room. We requested a roll away bed and when we checked in the bed was in the room. Any thing we asked for we got with a smile. The great folks that own this place make your visit great. The market next door makes dang good breakfast burritos. Unfortunately the pandemic closed alot of the restaurants, but we saw a few food trucks working. The room was very clean. We could walk around our room barefoot and our feet wouldn't turn black. In case your wondering about the last moment, I've stayed at a verily new Hilton hotel in Lubbock that looked fancy with a bar and restaurant in it and every morning had to wash the black off of the bottom of my feet. It's because they didn't clean the carpets. Stone village is a motel that is very clean and you don't have to
