Station House Inn South Lake Tahoe

Beautiful place right next to Lakeside Beach. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed was super comfy and the staff very friendly and accommodating. If I had the option I would give this place 4.5 stars because there are a couple things I would suggest to make a more pleasant experience for the guests: A little better lighting in the room and a faster coffee machine in the front office. Lastly, those disposable coffee cups in the front lobby...have gotta go. It's nice to have a simple cup that's easy to use and a lid is a must. Overall we enjoyed our staycation at Station house. We would definitely stay there again!!

Positive: The location was amazing, The girl at the front desk on Saturday feb 15th was super nice! Free check in drinks were awesome too! Negative: The staff working the front desk on Sunday Feb 16th were kinda shitty when i asked about the wine. They just pointed at the business card for the winery. The room is small but really nice A little dark, not bad though. Heard someone's loud tv 1st night.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is unbeatable—we were within easy walking distance of both the Heavenly Ski Resort and the beach, which made our daily outings so convenient. The amenities really leveled up our trip. Starting the day with a free breakfast and ending it in the hot tub and spa facilities and various board games was the perfect combination. Our room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly prompt with any requests we had. A special shout-out to Katrina and Bethany, who greeted us with welcome drinks and made us feel truly at home with their kindness. Plus, the fact that parking is included and they are pet-friendly (upon request) makes this a top-tier choice for South Lake Tahoe. Highly recommend!

Wonderful short stay at this cute little spot nestled in the trees. Has a cozy ski -lodge vibe to it. Front desk staff was very friendly and inviting. We got the smallest room but it was still more than enough for two of us- and you can’t beat the price! Especially when you add in free continental breakfast and beverages at check in. Room was very clean and bed was so comfy. Will definitely stay here on my next Tahoe trip!

SHI is my most favorite hotel in SLT! The rooms are beautifully designed with very well thought details (like snowboarding/ ski rack). Free and fast Wi-Fi, quiet room, comfy bed and towels, spotless clean. Movie nights with popcorn, coffee/tea/hot cocoa in the lobby, free self serve light breakfast in the morning, welcome drink upon arrival, hot tub, board games, indoor and outdoor fireplace where I had great fireside chats with other guests - the hotel is very welcoming and charming! But it’s welcoming not coz of the amenities only: all team members I’ve interacted are wonderful and have true hospitality spirit! Special shout out to Stacey and Katrina (I hope I spelled your names correctly! 🙏🏻) It’s always great to be back!
