State Motel

The management was very nice and very patient with us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet here and didn't see drugs or trouble. The others that were staying here were respectful and quiet. It wasn't filthy just old and needed to be fixed up. Its owned by the same people as the cabana and it seems as if they have cleaned up the place. I didn't see it before but during my stay I can't complain much as it was a motel. If you want hotel quality go to a hotel.

Angie n Louis who run the place r friendly polite n willing to help out as much as possible. Been here for over 2 months n they r great. They get 2 know u by name which in my opinion they care about there guests. Never had a single problem w this motel, which is a first. Ya it's a low end motel but for the price u can't beat the location. Would keep coming back here. I recommend the place. Water is hot, dog friendly, other guests have been real friendly. Everyone watches 4 everyone. Rooms r spotless when u move in. They answer almost every q u ask w straight honesty. Best motel on state st.

Despite all of the outward judgments that are typically associated with the State Motel, I personally have had a great experience and satisfactory stays while here (3 separate times during 2022). Angie and Louie are good people, keeping up their property accordingly and doing well at their job overall. Love the single rooms, as well as the double suites, they are clean, pristine, and well-maintained without excess frills that are unnecessary in the long run. Don't judge a book by its cover NOR listen to souls who don't know how to act or take decent care of things, much less themselves. Will stay here again for my Air BnB stay soon. 👍💯

The management .there are no maids, cleaners horrible parking , and attitude. poor buisness ethics .no visitors. No working phone, old microwaves, cannot use one remote, have to turn on tv manually and adjust volume every time. Holes in BLankets, sheets, towels ,chairs ,doors, and walls.at nearly one hundred dollars a night it is nowhere near worth fifty honestly.and the management calls cops keeps deposits and your property whenever available!

Sharon has really cleaned it up around there. She has put more effort in getting it cleaned up more than any other manager has. She actually cares about her customers visit, making it as welcoming and comfortable as can be.
