Franklin House

We really enjoyed our stay at Franklin house! Tucked in a cozy neighborhood we felt like we were part of the community. We loved the beer garden and thought that it was so unique and fun to have a space like that to relax and mingle with locals. Nan was a wonderful host and really nice to chat with. We stayed in the Skye room and would highly recommend it.

This house is super clean and cozy! The folks who run it are very friendly, and they had some very helpful advice on things to do during our two day stay in Boise. I also found the location to be great for us, being walking distance to some nice restaurants and the Boise River (roughly a mile away). The daily beer (and wine for my wife) was a unique touch. We stayed earlier in the week when the beer garden was not open to the public, so I can't comment on that, but the backyard area where the beer garden is located is very attractive. This was our second time staying here (We stayed for one night in 2021). In 2021 we got a room with a private bath, and on this latest trip we got a room with a shared bath down the hall. What an awesome place to stay. As a bonus, on our first night staying here, the beer garden was open to the public and we spent all evening chatting with the bar staff, Kevin and Sienna. They were fun to hang out with and give us some nice local tips & insights. Tiny downside on the B&B side of things was that communication with the B&B staff was a bit difficult and the fridge wasn’t stocked too well (majority of listed drinks weren’t there). Still, we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay. Popped in for a night here visiting Boise. The house was clean, friendly host, neighborhood felt safe and our room was comforting. This was my first traditional BnB stay, although no breakfest included, a complimentary beer was which was cool. We did the shared bathroom (outside of room-down the hall) which worked out just fine and was clean as well. Meeting with the house manager and learning some history bits about the place was very cool. The kitchen was well stocked and accommodating along with a comforting seating area in the living rooms. Would recommend!

We loved our stay at Franklin House! It was our first time visiting Boise and we absolutely loved it. Franklin House is located in a perfect area to be able to walk to restaurants, the river, parks, breweries, hiking paths, and coffee shops. Plus, their beer garden can’t be beat! The rooms and house were exceptionally clean. We were greeted with wine upon arrival and coffee freshly brewed when we woke up. Gavin the owner was very accommodating and gave us great recommendations for the area. No need to look further, stay here during your next trip to Boise (spend some time in the Hyde Park neighborhood and grab a cookie from Certified)
