Inn at 500 Capitol

This past weekend, we enjoyed a delightful staycation at the Inn at 500, and I was thoroughly impressed. I opted to upgrade to the signature 500 experience, which proved to be an excellent choice in terms of cost versus value. The attention to detail was remarkable, with a handwritten note and a lovely selection of chocolates awaiting us in the room. The room itself was immaculate and comfortable, with a thoughtful layout that enhanced our stay. We appreciated the Beekman 1802 toiletries, plush robes, a cozy fireplace, a balcony, a luxurious shower, and a dedicated sitting area for breakfast. Solid 4 star. Staff was amazing, not a ton of amenities at this hotel, which was strange given its price. The free glass of wine or beer as well as snacks and waters/soda was a nice touch. The room was clean, bed was comfortable…A/C eventually works but is some strange old system that pops out from the ceiling. The fireplace is great but roars out heat and then again…the A/C fails to cool the room down. Shower has half a sheet of glass so best to close the door to the bathroom and stay mildly warm. All in all, I’d come back as the staff is just plain nice and that’s hard to come by these days.

I look forward to staying here for every visit to Boise! The rooms are cozy and have everything I need along with incredibly comfortable linens and a cozy fireplace. The welcome beverage is such a nice touch after a travel day. The shuttle is so convenient. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend!

You will truly feel like a guest at this hotel. Everything from the free snacks and beverages throughout your stay to the perfectly bagged ice to take to your room to the cozy lobby area. It was close to downtown for great food. Another highlight was the valet app made things so much quicker and easier. The subtly themed rooms were charming.

The inn @ 500 continues to impress us with each visit. We were here for our wedding night and I was able to communicte ahead of time to have flowers delivered and they were beautiful. They also gave us complimentary tumblers which we still use to this day! We stayed here again for our anniversary and not only was I able to coordinate flowers again but they UPGRADED us into a beautiful room themed off of sun valley that really made our night special. The staff here is so kind, caring and pay close attention to every detail. We will definitely be staying here for years to come.
