Stanford Motor Inn Palo Alto

Staying at the Stanford Motor Inn for 3 nights while attending an event across the street at Rivian. We arrived early but the staff was quickly able to check us in early. Room is not huge, but has everything you need- bed, desk, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dresser, chair and table. Who needs empty space? Bathroom is fairly large. While it's not "modern" it definitely is not without it's own charm. Parking is available and seems like it might be less spaces than rooms, but it appears many use ride shares that stay here as they were fully booked, but there were still vacant spots. Breakfast is grab and go items which can be nice. Pet friendly! Dogs are very welcome and will get all the pets you want from staff :) . We went here as the VA hospital recommended it. We are so glad we did Neil was so nice and friendly. He gave us restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean and very comfortable. It was quiet. We were there as a family member was in the VA hospital. So the friendly atmosphere and quiet night was much needed after a stressful day. We will be returning in less than a week for the family members surgery and when I called to make the reservation, Neil had told Ashley about us and it was like chatting with a friend.

A decent motel. The location is convenient. There are buses numbers 22 & 522 on the road outside the motel. Stanford buses ply on certain days. The buses are convenient for going to Walmart, Palo Alto Caltrain station

(Warning Sorry For Long Post) My Momma Has Been Admitted Into The Stanford Hospital And We Live 4Hrs Away. My Family And I Have Been Here Going On 3 Weeks. We Were Blessed By Family & Friends Getting Us “Prestige” Hotels That When On Arrival Was NOTHING Like The Photos. Service Was Awful Rooms Not Cleaned Correctly, Bathrooms Had Mold..ETC.. My Dad And I Had To Check Out Of Our Room Due To Hotel Not Being Available For Our Stay. On Monday We Were Stressing And A Nurse Told Us To Go On A App And Look. Thank GOD! For Stanford Motor Inn 🙏🏽🙌🏽 They Were Truly An Answered Prayer 🙌🏽💜 We Were Little Worried At First Because Of Pictures. But NOPE! We Arrived I Was Greeted By Laura Super Sweet And Other Staff Oh My GREAT SERVICE. Our Room Was Seriously Super Clean And The Hotel Makes You Feel Right

Good choice for a quick stay in Palo Alto , rooms are slightly dated but clean and fresh ! This is a family owned hotel with really nice owners manning the front desk Mr Nair and his wife are very friendly and helpful There are plenty of great restaurants/ convenience stores nearby If you are ever in town for a visit/ conference - Stanford Motor Inn is a perfect stop !
