Coronet Motel

Being a Hilton Lifetime Diamond Member, I’m always underwhelmed by the lack of basic hospitality at the nearby Palo Alto, CA Hilton properties so I decided that stay at this highly rated hidden jewel property. From the time I was warmly greeted to enjoying my extra large hotel room in its mid century modern decor. The rooms are overly clean and comfortable. The management team are the jewels of the property always asking if I needed anything or providing guidance on restaurant recommendations. Like many other countless hotel guests I highly recommend this wonderful property in the heart of Palo Alto and Stanford University very close by. Happy Travels

This place is great. It’s the back alley traffic that runs behind the buildings that is my review. The trucks start at 4 am with the Garbage haulers. I reached out my bed window and touched the outside of a semi truck delivering merchandise to someone behind this motel. I was here for a hospital stay, rest is importan.|The resturants are a block away, no driving., just a short walk away. The crew here was great. No complaint with the motel. Just wanted to make sure if sleep is important to you you won’t get a lot after 4 am. We are booked for 2 more stays here. I am bringing sleep aids and ear plugs.

Positive: Aside from the hotel itself,Within 100 feet of the hotel is a major street. That’s been blocked off for about three blocks. That’s lying with restaurants and shops and street musicians. A very nice place to take a stroll and grab a meal. Negative: SMALL THINGS!. The lighting, particularly in the “living room “could be better. The heating is wall-mounted in the living room and does not flow equally through and into the bedroom, bathroom area easily. It’s very easily resolved by turning the heat up.

Positive: VERY impressed with all the amenities, size of room, cleanliness. The bathroom was quite large compared to what was expected. Loved the bedding- ALL COTTON!— not the usual plastic bedspreads. Negative: Noise?— if you are an early riser, no problem whatsoever.

We love this place and have come back several times. It’s always clean and friendly. It’s very comfortable, and if you compare prices in the area, you’ll see that it’s a real bargain.
