St. George Inn

Leaving this review to so they can out price my own budget next time. The room was amazing. The staff friendly and funny without being overbearing. The room was clean, and well decorated. Also quiet. The bed was absolutely comfortable and the bedding was not bleached to hell. They upgraded us to a balcony, explained all the info in the welcome book,and laughed at my bad jokes. All this after we got there almost too late. They have this great little spot out front where you can park, unload your car, and chwck in. Then walk you around explaining everything. Including showing you the elevator. Speaking of the book the divisions on different activities, restraunts, and attractions made sense. Time, expense, and parking were explained in the book. I was very impressed with my whole experience. I look forward to staying there again. The staff is amazingly kind and helpful, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. I loved my room so much that had a shared balcony with rocking chairs I stayed one more night. The breakfast was very good. If you need a room with elevator access make sure you let them know in advance. Some buildings while great don’t have elevator access. I would recommend this place and I plan on staying there again. They also have free, tea, coffee, and a complimentary bottle of wine. I give it 5 stars. Excellent location in the heart of the historic walking district of St. Augustine. Our 4 rooms all had an adjoining balcony with rocking chairs which was a bonus for cocktails. Streets were busy but not noisy from inside the room! Rooms were up one flight, “hallway” was open to the outside—Florida style(?) They were all large, clean and terrific sheets. Bathrooms needed modernizing but were adequate. Service at reception and breakfast was most accommodating. We all R recommend this Inn for accessibility to restaurants, shops and the waterfront.

Great location, at the start of one of the main pedestrian streets. You can easily walk everywhere from there. The hotel is cozy, old, feels like you travel in time. The staff is very nice, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big. They need some updates; the bed was comfortable but noisy. The TV was old, not a smart TV. But overall we had a good time. We paid around $400/night but it was Christmas and there were not too many options. You can get it for half the price in another dates.

Everything was beyond perfect. Its a family owned business providing by far the best customer service that not even larger corporations can match. The room was SPOTLESS. Not one speck of dust nor dirt. Super clean. Bed was very Comfortable. Pillows do need to be upgraded as they are outdated. But I always pack my own pillow when I travel so it didn’t bother me. I thought it would be noisy too since its right in the center of a square where alot of people hang out, but it wasn’t bad at all. Nice and quiet at night. Slept like a baby. Loved that it was close to every place we wanted to visit. Tons of restaurants too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone.
