St. Augustine RV Resort

Not my favorite place, but that's probably because the places I like are wooded and a bit more spacious snd secluded. This place is clean and well taken care of but it's nothing more than an RV parking lot. The sites are narrow and very close to one another. A lot of dogs were left outside and they would bark every time you went past or near their RV. We have a dog and we were there in the winter so it was fine, but because so much of the space is black asphalt or black rock on the RV pad I can't imagine it would be comfortable on a dog's paws in the summer.

We liked the extra large pull through camp sites that made up most of the camp sites here. There were a few back in sites that were shorter. The large sites had crushed gravel for the RV and vehicle parking which were lined by papers with paver patios. All sites were well landscaped and small lawns. Some were buddy sites. The campground had a club house, laundry, dog park, pool, large firepit and lake. It was pricey though but it was very convenient to shopping and downtown St. Augustine. I a very new commercial park. We would recommend it!

I will just say this. When looking to book don't rely on bogus outdated reviews. Older man on check in provided BAD info on area and basically could care less. Other staff played stupid when asked simple questions. I might as well have camped in the Publix as NOTHING was as pictured! And YES I told the front desk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great RV park, staff, clean bathrooms with private stalls, showers, and laundry facility. Other amenities included a heated swimming pool, pickle ball court, bocce ball, corn hole, exceptional dog park, and food trucks live music on the weekend. For those bigger rigs, there are pull through spots. This is the first time I ever saw a pull through. I highly recommend.

Our third visit as it's so close to St Augustine. Clean, well-managed, not cheap. WiFi didn’t work much for our three night stay. The owner/mgr saw my first review, came by, said he would send his guy around to fix things. Two hours later, his guy came around, we had a nice chat, nothing was fixed. He never showed up again. I did see other guests get relocated once other spaces opened up, but this wa not offered to us. At checkout, I asked the desk clerk to relay our experience to the owner/mgr. His response was unprofessional. To the owner/mgr - I know you don’t like negative reviews, but sometimes it’s deserved.
