Spyglass Inn

We stopped for a night, passing through on a family trip. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, shower was good. We loved the fire pits overlooking the ocean out back and even bought a s’mores kit from lobby to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent & beautiful location. Was able to ride our bikes right up to the patio on the lower floor. Firepits right out front w/ great seating. Grounds were very nicely landscaped. Jodie at the front desk was fabulous & friendly. Pool & jacuzzi were perfect too. Rooms were very nicely decorated, location to freeway & fuel was perfect. Resort local was right in between a northbound bike adventure (to Avila) and a southbound adventure (Pismo Pier)

Positive: We could walk out of our room to the fire pit and ocean overlook. Negative: Thr walls and floors are not well insulated. It was very noisy above us.

Beautiful location with rooms right at the water. Having the balcony was great. Even during the month of February it was nice to sit out and enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of crashing waves. The room was very nice too. Loved having a fireplace. My only suggestion is request the top floor. The ceiling does not block sound or movement. If you have an early riser above you be prepared to be up with them.

Location, Location, Location!! I stayed in an Ocean View room with fireplace king bed which was excellent. My patio provided direct access to the walking path behind the Dolphin Bay Resort and the Cliffs Hotel. Comfortable Robes were provided along with pool towels. I have always called this place a hidden gem. My trip was a staycation and I highly recommend to others.
