SpringHill Suites by Marriott West Mifflin

Another fine Marriott property. It exceeds the standards I’ve seen at other locations, clean quiet and comfortable. Front desk is extremely helpful, and the 24 hour coffee bar is music to my ears. I’m a Marriott loyalist, this property is proof that remains wise. *EDIT — I didn’t get the person working tonight’s name but she is quite pleasant and professional. I checked in this evening (11/28) around 7pm. Just so management knows she’s representing your property wonderfully.

Hotel was located near where we needed to be for the weekend dance competition but this hotel is dirty. The room smelled and the bed coverings were stained. The pool area was not cleaned. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. I just wish it was cleaner. It would be a very nice hotel if it was just cleaner.

The front desk clerk was probably the most friendly and warm person I have ever encountered. She checked us in, she was working breakfast the next morning, she was there when my family and I returned from Kennywood, and remembered that was where we were going, and asked us how we enjoyed it upon our return! She was also there the following morning when we checked out. She is definitely an asset to this location. If everyone was half as friendly and genuine as her, what a wonderful world this would be! Our room was large and clean, and the air worked very well. For what we paid, we definitely got more than our money's worth. Traveling with an adult child, plus our 2 younger children (9 and 3,) finding an affordable hotel room large enough to accommodate us all without being stuffed in like

Hotel was fine. Decor was tones of greys and black and without color. Front desk staff were great, Hospitality room was stocked and available for us each night and for breakfast each morning. The Breakfast attendant was friendly and efficient. Location was very noisy from traffic as it is located in a very busy commercial area.

We checked in on 8/23 evening. Everything went smoothly. Next morning we got the phone call asking if anyone lost the wallet and one of our kids just figured out she did. The front desk staff even walked over to our room and handed back to us. Unfortunately we forgot to ask her name. Thank you so much. We really appreciate you all. The hotel itself was clean, convenient location close to shopping center. We went to Walmart for some groceries for our college kid before sending her back to Pitt. Breakfast had good variety choices. Parking was plenty outside of the hotel building. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Pittsburgh.
