SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Jose Fremont

This is a very good hotel. It's a newer hotel with large rooms. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is basic but good and most importantly they have oat milk to go with their coffee! The Wednesday evening happy hour in the bar is a nice touch. The only downside is that the fitness center is barebones and could use more equipment. Other than that, this is a great place to stay in Fremont.

It would have easily been a 5⭐️ if the receptionist who checked us in had been warmer and more accommodating. However, the breakfast server we had every morning was absolutely wonderful. The Filipina lady—possibly named Berlyn—went above and beyond for everyone. Even with loud, energetic kids, she handled the situation so kindly that the parents were able to relax and enjoy their meal. Anytime someone asked for something, like extra hot water, she took care of it right away. We were for three breakfasts, the oatmeal is the best one so far, she made it perfectly and so creamy and she truly helped start each day on a positive note.

Hotel is in a good location and the rooms are clean but the showers here aren't great. There is practically no hot water. I let the water run for almost 15 minutes and it was still just "warm." They offered me a room change but it has the same issue. Other reviews over the years have also pointed this out so it is an ongoing problem. I would probably stay somewhere else next time.

We came back from overseas after 3 months of travel to found that we had a water leak at home. So we picked the closest hotel to stay for a few days. This place is nice, it is a suite like room that felt like a lot of space. The breakfast is normal but it includes a lot of varieties.

I just wanted to share my honest review about my stay here in Spring Hills Fremont, the best food I’ve tasted….been staying in Springhill suites down south when my daughter is in competition traveling with the colorguard and this one has been the best out so far with my food breakfast experience. Food quality is really super especially the sausage is cooked very nice juicy and crispy like it’s just freshly cook though I know it’s microwavable ha ha ha ha…. Oatmeal has nice texture not runny nor clumpy it was excellent! Met the nice hard working lady named Evelyn that was working behind making sure everything is not running out, constantly tidying the food place….and it shows why because she works so much with compassion and integrity that shows how|Much she loves what she’s doing.
