Extended Stay America Suites- Fremont - Newark

I was in the area with my family and we've been staying at extended stay and it has really met our needs. Comfortable and clean rooms with a kitchenette. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. For prolonged stays it's a great value.

Positive: Location Negative: Trashy, Junk piles, old RVs parked near the entrance. Many unhoused people hang out around the driveway to the facility. Grounds not maintained well. limited parking. Did not feel safe; I had to park far away from where my room was.

We stayed here while touring colleges with our 17 year old son for 3 days. We are 2 days in now and we ALL are having back pain, even our 17yo.||I spent the evening last night in my car and had a better night sleep than the evening before. I was a little freaked out by the idea of sleeping there given some activity I saw in the area earlier that day but I didn’t have any other choice at this point. ||Honestly, if I knew I’d be paying to torture my back like this, we would have car camped before reserving this place. This morning our kid begged to find someplace to “look at his back” or do massage. ||It smells weird too. Im not sure if it’s the cleaner they use but it’s got an odd spicy odor. ||While the rooms are clean, the carpets in the halls are NEVER clean day or night, there is trash

Location is great, right across from Country Way Restaurant. Front ofc staff friendly. However, will Never stay there again due to 8 roaches in room 432. Killed 4. Other 4 ran back to floorboards. Was going to stay 3 days but couldn't even sleep 1 night due to the roaches.

I absolutely love this place, Marina at the front desk is a breath of fresh air. She is very kind and helpful with all my needs. She brings a positive atmosphere to this place and is very attentive to the guest including myself. Great rates for this hotel this is well maintain and cleaned on daily basis. I recommend anyone to stay for a cheap rate with a free breakfast in the mornings. Love the coffee!
