SpringHill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport

As a business traveler who stays at SpringHill Suites Oakland by Marriott every week, I truly appreciate the consistency and professionalism of the staff — especially Will at the front desk. Will always welcomes me warmly and makes the check-in process smooth and effortless. He consistently provides outstanding service and goes above and beyond to make sure my stay is comfortable, safe, and stress-free. It makes a big difference when you travel frequently to be greeted by someone who is professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience. Their free breakfast is worth it, close by the airport and really clean rooms spacious rooms. My only thing is the location behind the Harvey Davidson Store and it's kinda industrial so if you're looking for a scenic view don't count on it, and with no real private parking but they did have a night security guard who sits in the parking lot but I guess that makes up for it. And service was good I didn't check in my husband did, but he said that they were great. I would recommend this place for sure if you're staying for a few days, it's great.

As a frequent business traveler, I stay at SpringHill Suites Oakland by Marriott almost every week, and the breakfast experience is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The breakfast is always fresh, well organized, and perfect for starting a busy workday. There’s a great variety, everything is clean, and the overall atmosphere in the morning is calm and welcoming — exactly what you want before heading out to meetings. I especially want to give a big thank you to Maura, who consistently goes above and beyond. Her service is outstanding — always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She remembers guests, makes you feel welcome, and truly sets the standard for excellent hospitality. People like her make a hotel feel like a second home.

I stayed here for one night to see a concert and I was very impressed. I cannot find one negative. Room, and entire property, was very clean. The room was modern, clean as could be and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the lunch I had at the downstairs restaurant was delicious. All employees were very nice and welcoming. And the shuttle to the airport was a nice treat. Highly recommend.

Positive: The hotel and its staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and very friendly. Breakfast featured a nice selection, including eggs, meats, fresh bread, and pastries. Negative: The pool area was pleasant overall, but it isn’t fully sheltered from the wind. On windy days, it can feel quite chilly. Located in an industrial area, the hotel is close to SFO and many attractions, though there’s little nearby. Daily parking fees apply.
