SpringHill Suites by Marriott Louisville Downtown

I had a two night stay with my daughter at this location. Woke up after the first night and had bed bugs crawling all over the pillows and headboard of my bed! There were 2 I found crawling on me. The manager on duty at the front desk did not offer to comp the nights stay. When I told her I do not think I should be paying for a nights stay that I slept in a bed with bugs she became extremely rude. She was never apologetic. Implying that I was lying about the situation even after I showed her the pictures and videos. She did not come up to the room to look-nor did she send another manager up to look. She got us a new room and offered for a housekeeper to high heat dry our stuff. The housekeeper was extremely nice and apologetic. She took videos and pictures when she came up to gather our th

Check in and out was seamless. Front desk staff was very nice. The room I had was very nice and clean. Separate toilet and hand sink from the shower and sink. Shower had a crack in the bottom and the ceiling was a little rough but other than that it was very clean. Included breakfast was very nice but the first day I thought maybe they forgot to pay their heating bill, I had to go back to the room to have breakfast. Second day, they made up for lost time, and it was super hot. Overall, would most definitely stay at this hotel again

Really enjoyed our stay here. We are members so got for points. When I saw location thought we were far away from everything. Just the opposite. This area is filled with newer Hotels. Must have been the poor part of town which all got torn down in the 90's. Close to Whisky Row, The Stadium and walkable to the river.|Very clean, nice shower, good beds and a all around comfortable room. Staff is fantastic. Young people, very helpful. Breakfast over the top...everything but sandwiches.|Only negative, everyone must drive there and they charge $19/day to park. I think should be included in room rate.

Stayed Friday through Monday. We had zero housekeeping service. The double rooms had a weird layout with no "bathroom privacy" glass door at foot of bed for bathroom. Room was large, fridge actually got cold which was nice! Our room faced the street on 6th floor. Traffic noise was high with fire station close by. Over all it was a decent stay just request a higher room or one on the back side.
