SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lakeland

Late check out and bad beds. After reading reviews, was looking forward to our stay. Check in was fast and efficient. Did follow my BonVoy app instructions and asked at check in for a late check out the next day. Was told I’d have to call the desk the next morning for a late check out. Not sure why that couldn’t be determined at check in but waited until the morning, called looking for the 2 pm gold elite late check out. Told the latest they could do at that hotel was 1pm. The beds… may be just my preference? But the beds were horrible! They were flatter than a pancake and sloped toward the middle. The bed was so uncomfortable I got virtually no sleep for tossing and turning to find a comfortable position on a flattened slope. The pillows were pitiful as well, they were fluffed and looking

Everything was in order, but i disliked a bit the smell in my room. Liked that they have breakfast every morning. Coffee maker in the room. A microwave which is really convenient. The fridge however was not cooling. Super spacious room. Has restaurants near by that i was able to walk to. Outdoor pool, Gym 24 hours.

Positive: "" Negative: I think their breakfast was lacking compared to other chains. Coffee was not always hot at 7 Am also.

This hotel is clean and the beds and linens are SO comfortable. My favorite thing was when we arrived late in the evening, our room’s AC was already turned down so the room was nice and cool. The parking lot was well lit at night. Breakfast was great; we will definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a very large two room suite - which was gigantic. There was a big kitchen area with a raised counter and four stools. The bed was very comfortable and quiet all night. There were also two sink areas in the bathroom. Breakfast was good with plenty of seating.
