Hampton Inn Lakeland

I have come to expect the best and yes this Hampton Inn Location is equal to or exceeds my expectations! Room is great, clean, and updated. We a had a minor and I do mean minor issue with our TV. We could not get "Live TV Stations". So we do what any guest would do, March ourselves down, elevator ride here we go (from the 3rd floor) to go pay the front desk clerk a wee-bit-of-a visit. We spoke to Mr. Martin to which he replied "sounds like a loose wire and away we go. Off like a shot without another word spoken. So I do what any male guest with a wife following, I get a small cup of coffee to go (which at 6:30 pm) is still HOT 🔥, YES, score 1 for this guy. . . The attitude I received was terrible. I tried to discuss with the manager and understand how my credit card was fraudulently used at this hotel. I was met with a lecture about why they don’t ask to see the credit card at check in. Nothing learned on my side. Don’t think he learned anything either in my search to learn how we all might be able prevent all of us paying for this type of theft. I won’t be staying here any time ever. I’m questioning any Hilton hotels. Close to $900 in fraudulent Hilton hotel charges in two days. ||||Of course now I have to cancel the card and change every auto payment I have on this credit card. My conversation with this manger was a complete waste of time.

Positive: "" Negative: There was garbage bags left sitting next to the elevator for days. A strange masked guy roaming the parking lot made us very nervous It also seemed like people may live in the hotel?

Outstanding room! Very clean and pet friendly. Complimentary breakfast was good, and that lady hustled to keep everything full and the area clean. Great location, easy access to the interstate and a lunch and dinner restaurant right next door.

When we got their, our room was dirty like the housekeeper left and didn't finish cleaning the room. Trashbag was full and laid out on the floor as soon as we walked in the room. Dirty towels and bedsheets. I went to front desk and told them, they gave us a new room upstairs that was clean. The new room had no hand soap in the bathroom, but was decent enough. I personally wouldnt stay at another Hilton again, bad impression since I had just proposed to my Fiancee that same night. So to have those troubles when we checked in was unacceptable. Also, their vending machines wouldnt work, wouldn't take my card or cash. They had a free decent breakfast though.
