Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lakeland South by IHG

Our stay at the holiday in was fantastic! The room was big and clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable! The buffet for breakfast had a wide variety, fresh and staff were working hard to keep it clean while people came and went. The pool was really fun for my kids. Perfect depth. Clean, lots of seating for parents. Highly recommend staying here with family or for business!

We have been staying at multiple HI Expresses in Florida, this one was by far the best. The desk staff, breakfast ladies, cleaning crew, all very personable, effective and professional. The facility is spotless and well cared for and located near many restaurants and stores. The rooms have all the amenities unlike some of the others we have stayed in this week. I was able to conduct a Zoom appointment I had in the computer area. Breakfast had many extras and there was a coffee maker in the room, unlike other recent HI Exs. A very nice property.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon for a dance competition weekend at the civic center 10 minutes away. Our room was ready when we arrived and the staff made sure to accommodate our preferences on the reservation. Our room was clean, comfortable and gave us plenty of space to relax. The lobby smelled so nice and every public area we encountered was clean, or actively being cleaned by a staff member. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday were both delicious with ample choices for everyone.

Booked my room in advance. Arrived at the hotel at 7pm to check-in after traveling all day... Was informed by front desk that bicycles are not allowed in the room otherwise there is a $250 up charge. This information was not disclosed at the time of booking, I am also a rewards member and I have never had any issues bringing my bicycle to the room on my multiple stays at Holiday Inn properties.... I offered to carry the bike to my room but it was denied .... I don't even mind that they have rules like this, it would have been nice to know this in advance and an option provided PRIOR to me showing up and having to scramble to get another hotel room somewhere else after traveling all day... The solution offered is a bike rack outside which is unacceptable since this is a fairly expensive bi

My toilet was broken when I got there and since they were at 100 percent capacity I just had to deal with it until the next day haha. I guess I understand but a broken toilet is not great! I also could hear my neighbor snoring all night. I personally have never had that happen before so tgat was lovely.
