SpringHill Suites by Marriott Great Falls

A hotels, breakfast buffet and pool/spa are the determining amenities of whom gets my $100+ when gettin’ off the road for 8 hours while traveling. Finding an available bed n’ adjacent toilet, with a lockable door is perfectly acceptable 60 dollars-ish. It’s my fault for maybe not looking close enough at posted photos, or reading reviews. The pool at this hotel, shouldn’t be allowed to be advertised as “pool” I don’t know the official sub categorys below what an average pool would/should be described as but, goodness! There isn’t a “pool” at this hotel

Staff were very helpful, accommodating to us, as well as professional. Our room & the hotel in general were immaculately clean. Everything in room was up to date and functional, bed/bedding comfortable & we didn't have any issues. The indoor hot tub was in order, which I hope will be the case during our future stays. Pool was freezing cold though. We noticed through the years of traveling that some hotels keep their pools warm, some somewhat heated & some cold. It's just the way it is. Hot tub being hot is an absolute must for us, which was the case during our stay. Breakfast was really good, just like what you expect from the brand & was very well managed.

Bed Bugs!!!Upon arrival late at night, we were happy to be finally able to come to a rest after 14 hours on the road. The first impression was good as everything looked rather modern and still new. Unfortunately, when we checked our mattress for any signs of bed bugs, we found two of them. Alive. They were on the box of the box spring! We immediately left the room and notified the gentlemen at the front desk who weren't surprised at all, it seemed. Thankfully, we were moved to a new room that had no signs of pest, but staying there still made us feel uneasy.

This is my second stay at this hotel over the years, one being a 5-day stay, this time it's a 4-day. The staff are extremely helpful, it's pretty quite (I stayed on weekdays) and has all the amenities. Pros: Rooms are extremely nice. There's an option to keep the fan on all night, for us who need that. The hot tub is wonderful. Breakfast options are good. The bed is quite comfortable. Great view, especially when you get to face the river! You can log into your Netflix or Prime accounts on the TV, which is convenient. Cons: Pool is very small, and only goes to 4ft deep. Couch is extremely uncomfortable. But as you can see, the pros far outweigh the cons! Highly recommended.

Similar to other reviews, this is the best Marriott in this tier I have ever stayed at. Cleaning every day, super spacious rooms, clean and in good condition. free breakfast is tasty. Hotel still has a working hot tub (a rarity now)! TV has 3x the selection of channels as other Marriotts. Nice, firm pillows. Nice patio. Air conditioning blows hard and cold. No complaints whatsoever, staff and management doing a great job here.
