SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas Arlington North

I stayed here for three nights. The staff was incredibly friendly. The free breakfast was great and very filling. The hotel is undergoing construction, which was never an issue during my stay. The one downside is the room did not have the best lighting and the shower did not have a lot pressure.

The hotel is great! The construction that's going on does not have any impact on the stay whatsoever. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the breakfast is so good(I love scrambled eggs and sausage). Plus the staff is so nice. Especially Tara, she is so nice and seems to really care about the people that come and stay.

Just booked my room and had the best experience on the phone with Grable at the front desk. He was super patient and helpful, fixed my reservation right away, recommended some awesome spots to eat nearby, explained the shuttle options, and told me the renovation will be finished before I arrive, so the rooms will basically be brand new. Honestly, planning this trip was stressing me out, but talking to him made everything so much easier. Really looking forward to staying there now and saying thanks in person. Already feels like it’s going to be a great trip!

Probably the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in, and I'm a Lifetime Platinum Elite member. For starters, there was a bunch of slippery muck an inch or two deep throughout the parking lot (see photos). It should have been cleaned out. I'm sure people had to be tracking it into the hotel. ||Next, there wasn't a working ice machine anywhere in the hotel. The receptionist on Sunday morning, Dec. 28, insisted that the one on the first floor was working, but I checked it for a second time and it wasn't dispensing any ice. On the second floor, there is an arrow pointing to an ice machine somewhere down the hall, but no one could ever find it. Good location, amenities are good with couch and table and office desk. The only thing is the air is not fresh as it smells like moldy odor. The breakfast provides variety of foods, staffs are nice and friendly. Generally very good!
