SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boston Logan Airport Revere Beach

Have stayed here at least 3 occasions before. We love the location and the beach. Checked in online, indicated 3pm check in. The request was acknowledged. When we arrived, we were told it’s “4pm check in and we are short-staffed”. (We could have adjusted our plan if we knew beforehand). Unfortunately 4pm turned into 5 pm when we finally got the rooms. Desk attendant was irritated and juggling many folks waiting. The next morning, arrived at breakfast 45 mins prior to closing(8:45) and found it to be nearly empty ( no milk,yogurts, fruit left, 3-4 entrees empty, coffee empty) . The attendant was working hard but clearly overwhelmed. Fortunately, there’s a Starbucks next door and we were able to order (and spend$30) to get some breakfast. Was a great location and great views. BUT customer service sucks. Front desk never told us how to work elevators to get to higher floors. Left to find a parking ticket on our car due to front desk putting in our plates wrong. Left my wallet in our room, THEY NEVER CALLED ME. Ended up getting all the way home before finding out and then couldn't get thru the front desk to get confirmation they had it took 2 days to confirm and then had to pay out of pocket to have it shipped home and that was a run around in itself ended up spending $50 to get my wallet returned home.

This is such a disappointing hotel. I would suggest you stay elsewhere. We stayed here two years ago and it was amazing! So much so that when planning our trip this year, we had to stay here. What a surprise to find that everything changed! No more customer service. The staff is not happy to be there and they will definitely let you know. Any questions you have will annoy them, be prepared. The breakfast, which was once our favorite, is basic at best. The hotel is dirty, things are broken and in disrepair. The elevator broke 3 times during our stay. They now charge $15 a day for parking and the deposit for the stay varies depending on who checks you in. On our second night, the emergency alarm sounded and a message played to be prepared to evacuate at 4:30am. No explanation or follow up t

Had a very warm welcome from all the receptionists, truly amazing service.With a walking distance to the beach view like this, it is definitely a bonus!However if the breakfast service can improve slightly would have been our top notch hotel! (Not rushing us through (before the closing time)😆, coffee/ tea to be provided at lobby 24/7 would be perfect during a cold night back. Anyway would definitely coming back!

As a flight crew member, I stay at 12-15 different hotels across the nation every month. Since these stays are routine and part of my job, I don’t write reviews for hotels. However, I do think some hotels deserve shoutouts. For instance, SpringHill Suites Boston Airport stands out for its excellent service and hospitality.
