Hampton Inn Boston-Logan Airport

We had a really disappointing experience using the Hampton Inn for airport parking. When we arrived, there were no attendants around and the lot hadn’t been cleared of snow. Cars were parked all over the place, including in the driving lanes, so it was hard to even get down the row to look for a spot. There was no signage or direction on where to park, so we were basically guessing. Inside, the front desk staff was very abrupt and made us feel like we were bothering them just by asking what to do. Only one shuttle was running, and when it showed up it was completely packed. Every seat was taken and people were standing shoulder to shoulder from one end of the bus to the other, including right in front of the doors. Positives: shuttle busses are available for pickup and drop-off for the airport. It's about less than 20 mins away depending on traffic. I paid $25 for early check-in before 3pm; I was there at 11am. Overall clean room and accessible for Uber drop-off. Call or book online. New development I was charged for parking that I never used. Kindly ensure you review your receipts when received. I reported the issue and will check to see if and when I'll receive a refund.

Hilton Honors member here. No in room dining, restaurant opens at 5pm, $4 per bottled water/juice at snack pantry by front desk, no explanation of where their shuttle service picks up at Logan airport (kind of important when you are a hotel near the airport!). I called 3 times only to be put on hold the first 2 calls "Hampton Inn, hold please" x 2 and I finally happened to spot the shuttle and got on. The drivers were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff are horrendous - really need more training on customer service. Everytime you ask the woman at the front desk for something, she'll write it down on a piece of paper - they couldn't remember I requested a wake up call but had no problem remembering to charge me for the drinks I purchased from the snack pantry. Check in was relatively smooth and efficient. The room was designed with a minimalist aesthetic. The laundry facility was small, only one washer and one dryer, and no visible laundry items for sale in the laundry room. Housekeeping was called twice to have the room cleaned and never turned up, however the asst.GM was kind enough to have fresh towels brought to the room after hearing of the second no show. The maintenance team was responsive and quick at addressing the challenges we had on the first night, well done.
