SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boise ParkCenter

I stayed four nights while in town on business. The location is good, just outside of downtown. The hotel is updated. The room was clean. The bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast was decent. The thermostat offers a constant fan option for better sleep. If you’re looking for a great restaurant, Barbacoa is across the street. The one negative is that the walls are super thin. You can actually hear your neighbors talking. With that being said, it will still be my go to when in Boise.

AMPLE parking, MINUTES from downtown, hot tub open year round, nice sized gym. Rooms are clean and modern, with an interesting sink/counter layout. Bonvoy status is recognized here with no fuss. Breakfast is standard/boilerplate for budget chains and nothing to write home about but it definitely gets the job done. Staff is cordial and nice. Hallways can be a maze to navigate depending where your room is since there’s an inner courtyard they all wrap around. 10/10 will be staying here again.

Staff was great. Room was a nice size. The bed was not comfortable at all. Had a hard time sleeping. They gave us a room right off one of the outside doors (#183) and it was noisy. Loud metal clangs every time someone went in or out. The air conditioning/heating unit did not work well. There was also a gap at the bottom of the unit and so there was a cold draft constantly as it was in the teens to low 20s outside. Breakfast was okay. Their cafe free scrambled eggs looked like plastic and tasted likely too. Juice was watered down and coffee was weak and horrible tasting. We won’t stay here again.

Had a good stay here, but had a few alarming hiccups along the way. My family and I were assigned this hotel for a hockey tournament. We had all of our contacts with the Director of Sales, Monique. She was very responsive and kind via email. I had heard of some issues another hockey parent was having with her in regards to a service animal and room availability, but I didn’t experience any negativity from her. She honestly was great. We checked in on a Thursday as a family of 5. We got in late; and upon turning down the beds found the sofabed was soiled in urine and blood. We called the front desk and they VERY quickly brought us a new set of linen and such while also being very apologetic. I sent this info to Monique so she could alert the proper managers. Monique again was great, and

Its definitely not the worst hotel I've stayed at but it wasn't the best either. One of the beds was broken, one of the mirror lights was out, our room didnt have a hair dryer, and when leaving we noticed what looked like mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. We also noticed the room walls were very thin and could hear a screaming baby in the room next to us and the tv blasting in the opposite room on the other side. The breakfast was pretty good, and the pool and hot tub were nice. The staff was friendly but the rooms were all booked up so we couldent move rooms. Honestly we expected better from a Marriott, we felt like with how the room was kept we would have had the same quality sleep for less money in a motel. So I can't exactly recomend this place.
