SpringHill Suites by Marriott Athens West

Very nice and accommodating staff. Room smelled a little funky… like musty. The TVs in the room only had one remote and that was real fun trying to operate. A great breakfast selection in the morning! Only a 8 min drive to UGA campus

The staff is very friendly at this hotel! They are very accommodating! The location is good. The breakfast was OK and that’s the highest I could give them. The coffee was always lukewarm. The limited food was like that. On occasion you might get a breakfast meat but not always. The eggs were watery and powdered and Luke warm. No toast available. The hotel is clean but slightly outdated. The heated/cooling system is not good unless you want to be warm or hot all the time. Overpriced for sure. Oh and when it snows or is icy please don’t spare the ice melt!

Our family was traveling for out-of-town State competition and this hotel was perfect for our needs in all areas - suite rooms and location to our venue. We were pleasantly greeted by the two front desks clerks who really enjoyed their jobs. They were friendly and really cared about us as a guest. The room was perfect in all areas. Very modern, up-to-date hotel with the great perk of 100% Smoke-free facility and No Pets. This was a very nice hotel and we will definitely be going back. The complimentary breakfast was extremely nice and we were very rested with no complaints upon our check-out. LOVE SPRINGHILL SUITES!

Absolutely the WORST hotel experience I've EVER had. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I was shocked by both my front desk and Corporate discussions. I booked on the Bonvoy app and tried to use points. I didn't have enough apparently, so I purchased $250.00 worth of points to round out a two night stay. The online reservation must have switched when I changed payment to the points. In any event, the front desk said I only had one night booked, but the amount of points I purchased to cover the second night of my reservation cost more than the cost of a night here. Even writing this review is a TOTAL waste of my time. They stole my points, refused to refund my card the $250.00 so I could simply pay for the $195.00 cost of the room. Be sure to bring your own bottle of water for the coffee maker and to brush your teeth. This hotels doesn't offer NOTHING!!
