SPOT X Hotel Tampa - Wesley Chapel by The Red Collection

The SpotX hotel is a newly renovated hotel in the Ramada Inn brand. I don’t normally stay at Ramadas because they have not been nice in the past but this one was lovely. Upon arrival a friendly and very accomodating staff member named Amy was working in the dining area/lobby and cleaning the place up. I knew from the cleanliness of the lobby and the rooms I would enjoy staying at this hotel. Once Melissa, the amazing manager, checked us in (early I might add) she let us know about the amenities and some of the newer shopping areas around town. We were traveling from out of town so this information was invaluable. Every time during our stay we came back to the hotel, Melissa was at the front desk accommodating all her guests in the kindness and most professional way. Our room was a king bed

Positive: I was grateful to hotel employee for for puting our 3 rooms in the same area. Negative: our rooms were very dusty and needed a wipe down. I also found 3 different types of hairs in my "clean sheets"

While the location is great - don’t book here. The rooms are absolutely filthy. No outlets. The room layouts are terrible. Everything is out of order (ice, laundry etc). The place is run down. It’s just bad. Find somewhere else!

Stayed here for four days/ nights. We had walked in on night one frustrated with our pre-arranged car rental, crossing our fingers that the hotel booking had went flawlessly. It did, thankfully, and we were greeted by the most lovely lady named Treasure. She was a gem our entire vacation, always very cheery and helpful and was just an absolute delight to have at this hotel while we stayed. All of the front desk and room service staff were very kind and helpful, but Treasure was a real standout for us. Room wasn't exactly what we expected, but that's likely on Expedia and not the hotel (Expedia was also the cause of our car rental not being up to snuff).
