Best Western Wesley Chapel

I've never seen a hotel so clean. I couldn't even see any paint that needed done or touched up. As a 30-year veteran in quality assurance I'm not easily impressed but this hotel was fantastic. Even the stairwell was clean and in perfect shape.

I was there over the weekend for a tournament and booked my reservation via booking.com. Upon arrival I was asked for the credit card used, however I booked with my apple pay. This hotel DOES NOT ACCEPT Apple Pay, as informed by the front desk clerk Jesus. He informed me that they are sold out (as most hotels in the are due to the tournament) and either I could pay in cash or cancel and rebook and pay in full - however that wouldve been impossible because there was NO VACANCY (not sure why it was even suggested). I asked to speak to a supervisor for further assistance since he basically said take it or leave it and assured me that the supervisor will not be of any help. Another guest overheard our conversation and quickly suggested to go on the booking app and pay through there. I paid it

We have stayed at this property 3 times. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and halls, pool and parking lot well maintained and safe. Had issue with TV channels but manager came within 15 minutes to re-program. Definitely would stay again if in area.

The staff is very professional and friendly and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. | When I need to travel to the Tampa area, I typically stay at this hotel. | The four stars is due to the room being "damp". There was dampness in the air which caused the bed sheets to feel damp as well as the clothes that hung in the closet. I switched the a/c to heat and set it at 75 degrees for about an hour. This seemed to remove the dampness from the room.| I have stayed here before and never had this issue. Since this stay was shortly after the hurricane, I believe it is a byproduct of all the rain, etc. and will self correct.| We enjoyed the breakfast and both mornings, even though the hotel was booked, the staff kept everything stocked! | The woman at the front

Positive: Location Negative: The metal fixtures and the lamps have rust on them and the room has an odor
