Saddlebrook Resort

The resort has made improvements since my prior visit in 2023. The room was much nicer and clean. The resort still has work to do to upgrade/refresh the facilities; It still looks tired. However, the front desk staff was excellent. In particular Nyaira and Samantha were terrific and extremely friendly and helpful in resolving an issue for me quickly and professionally. Also the woman who helped me check in and out was extremely welcoming and helpful on several occasions during my stay (sadly I don’t recall her name to give her proper credit.) the staff all around from Valet, Bell staff, pool bar were really great to interact with.

Can clearly tell they’ve been putting money back into the resort and it shows. Golf course looks great. Pool is fantastic. Restaurants are definitely improved. Staff is and has always been great. It’s definitely a good vacation spot. I anticipate the reviews will begin going up now that the resort is being upgraded.

Stayed here as part of a company retreat. Room had AC broken. It was not even plugged in properly. Took a whole day of nagging the front desk to get the maintenance crew to come. They said someone had come when they had not. My coworkers had rooms without hot water for the first 2 days. Had another coworker with sewage water coming through the shower. They look like they are renovating some of the rooms. But the problem is it is a face lift without fixing some of the core important issues. Wifi setup in room was extremely noisy ALL night. Tried to work with front desk on solving some of these problems but they said they couldnt move us rooms bc fully booked. Would not recommend staying here.

Had potential...I was willing to ignore the loud construction with beeping each morning or even the fact that our door never fully closed and our balcony was covered in construction dust, until I got my Folio on our ride home. They not only charged us $30 / day for Valet (which you have no choice and absolutely cannot park yourself) but on top of that charged a $32 Parking service fee! I was outraged knowing I had tipped $100 during our stay to the valets. Not to mention the $54/day resort fee! If you get a good rate online, make sure you factor in another $200/night additional because the room taxes are doozies too! None of these charges were disclosed upon booking the rooms.||||When I reached out to the resort to understand what the service fee was, they put me on hold for over 20 m

Positive: Everything was renovated I have been coming here for 30 years and everything looks brand new again. I will definitely come back again and again and again Negative: The only thing I didn't like was I couldn't stay longer. LOL there was absolutely nothing wrong everybody the staff management the cleanliness the area and location was absolutely awesome
