Sportsman's Lodge

We have been "Happy Campers" here with Sportsman's Lodge, Marina & Campground for several years. Ever since the Strait Family have taken the pride of ownership, the entire facility has seen vast upgrades and improvements. From the management to the Ground Keepers and every employee in between, the Team here truly do care and strive to maintain and exceed their customers requests and needs. From the upgraded Marina to the campsites and Lodge and pool, Cabins and the beautiful water views,, Sportsman's is truly a wonderful destination! We have stayed many different places and areas in our past 37 years of our adventuring and I drive over 3 hours to get here from my home, but could not imagine ever staying anywhere else. Sportsman's is Great and definitely our Happy Place!!

Awesome people & service...... Love the rooms & grill area an pools. Enjoyed every minute an will make Sportmans Lodge a gathering place every year!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyed staying at Sportsman's Lodge on Johnathan Creek. It is not fancy but clean if you stay in the hotel side. Enjoyed the marina outside our door, the pool and the lake atmosphere. It sits on a high hill so the view is very nice from anywhere. The staff is the best, very accommodating. Have been going there with family for over 40 years and this past week has been the best one yet. It has new ownership and is improving each year. Great for families with younger children.

We’ve been coming to Sportsman’s Lodge for over 10 years. The place use to be run down but the new owners have done a wonderful job at updating everything! The new marina is beautiful and they have so much to offer. The staff is so helpful and accommodating and the new manager Shelby is such a sweetheart! If you’ve been here before and didn’t like it then I suggest you try it again. You don’t be disappointed!

We've made a lot of great family memories here! Everything is always clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Pet friendly which is nice. My only complaints are the prices are getting a little high and they charge $10 extra a night for kids over 9. But you can see the sunset over the water from a few different places on the property and it's amazing.
