Malcolm Creek Resort

Cabin rentals are a great value. The campground is small, clean and cozy. Super nice people. Marina staff was helpful friendly and prompt. The only issue we had was one of our cabin rentals was musty and had a couple of our friends questioning if mold could be present. But its the South, next to a lake with excessive humidity. Musty smells are part of the experience unfortunately

Pontoon boat was in great condition and performed as expected. We rented it for a full 24 hours and had a great time on Kentucky Lake. Couple runs it and he is very friendly. Unfortunately she is not. Both when picking up the rental and returning she was not at all friendly. When we returned the boat she never even thanked us for our business. Also be forewarned their gas prices were $0.60 higher per gallon than we paid at another marina.

This was our first experience staying with Malcolm Creek. We stayed in the Executive Cottage. From get go the owners were so accommodating, we even found out with the executive cottage a free golf cart to use was going to be given to us. The campground was within 5-15 minutes from restaurants, stores and more. The house is so big, comfy and just perfect for a family. The main bedroom has so much space! The location is perfect. The house is a little off the lake but close enough to walk to docks or to the pool. It was pretty peaceful and quiet out here. The owners were what makes the stay. I texted anytime I had a question and they responded immediately! Super friendly people. We had one small mishap with some bedding and they were more than accommodating for the issue. First time there and we definitely will return. Very clean, we stayed in executive cabin.....so very nice. Rented a pontoon, it was awesome! Great fishing. Tim is so nice, we definitely will be back😊

Haven't stayed at the resort but wanted to give the young man and young lady working at the Marina (this week) 5/5 stars! Both came right out before we were even at the dock. They helped us tie up, and fueled the boat. They were friendly and professional, and they were obviously paying attention to the lake traffic, as it was no waiting. The Marina has basic supplies...hope they expand and stock even more stuff in the future. Location is a big plus for surrounding resorts!
