Bee Spring Lodge

It's right on the water. They have nice docks and a ramp that you can use right there. The grill or diner that is on site is pretty good. Chris one of the owners was very nice. Pans the prices were better than more well known lodges around that aren't as clean or well taken care of. My only compliant is that I didn't use the docks at all, either pulled out or beached the whole time and I was still charged the ten bucks boat fee. Which I would be fine with if there wasn't a big sign at the ramp that says one dollar launch fee. I questioned it and mildly complained or grumbled about it and was told by the young girl in the grill that I'm not the only one who had said something about that. That gripe aside even paying the extra ten a day Bee Spring was still a better deal and cleaner

Have been coming here for 20 years. Amazing secluded campground that isn't over crowded. George keeps it looking beautiful. Reccomend.

We really enjoy camping at BSL-it is very nice and clean. They offer about 6 transitional sites, right on the water or have a great view of the water. After visiting several other campgrounds, BSL is the best that we have found for us, two adults with no children. Below are a few "tips"...||||FYI, the restaurant is closed now. ||You CANNOT have a golf cart here!||There is no swimming pool. ||This is not a child friendly campground.||You will pay $10 for additional vehicle/boat.||The boat ramp is gravel and fairly steep. ||Great area to walk or bike ride.||VERY QUIET!||There is a dump station. ||There is a bath house (small and not the best I have ever used)||They are building a new bath house. ||Lots of wildlife (deer, fox, squirrels, turtles, etc.)

It was a great place with nice people. Our family and friend have stayed many times over the past 20 years and it was always a quiet clean and good place to stay. Now it's a blast in the past without good southern hospitality. The owner needs customer service training and I am very disappointed in a place I have always recomened.

Bee Spring is a privately owned campground on the shores of Kentucky Lake. The price is reasonable, but you get what you pay for. Not much to do if you don't have a boat, as there is no real swimming area. There are little cabins, think HoJo circa 1960's, for rent or you can camp. All sites have access to water hydrants & electricity & there is a tiny shower house on one side of the campground. There used to be a restaurant, but it closed up a few years back.There is a Wal-Mart at Benton, KY, which is about 8-10 miles away. This campground is not very child friendly as there just isn't much to do. I recommend Hillman Ferry Campground on the opposite shore in Land Between the Lakes if you want lots of activities for kids & easy access to LBL & all its facilities. If you want a quiet place t
