We have vacationed at Shawnee Bay for several years. The staff is so kind and helpful. We love the location. The view of the lake is incredible. The beach is great and a perfect place for kids to play in the sand. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation filled with swimming and fishing, Shawnee Bay is a great choice. We are going back in a few days and cannot wait!

Shawnee Bay is the best resort we have ever visited! The cabins are very clean and well kept. Owner John and his daughter Callie are very friendly and hard working people! They do an amazing job of running this resort. We’ve seen numerous resorts on Kentucky Lake and this one is definitely the best! We will definitely be going back every year!

Fantastic family vacation location! Cabins were clean - had no reservations of one year old crawling on the ground. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. Screened in porch was lovely all hours of the day. Swing set, paved roads and sandy beach provided great entertainment for the kids.

Shawnee Bay is a beautiful example of the traditional lakefront cabin resort on Kentucky Lake; great cabins, EXCELLENT lake views, full marina and an environment that you can only get with family-run care and attention. We look forward to our summer lake trip every year and are never disappointed!
