Spindrift Motel

Room served its purpose for a weekend music festival. Awesome people! Leaky faucets, no toilet paper holder…. Takes 7 minutes for the hot water in the shower, half the lights don’t work, but for 1/4 the price you’ll be okay. It’s not the place to bring your family to, but if in a bind 🤷‍♂️ can’t beat the price…. Bring some fishing poles…. There’s some good fishing out back. Only got skate, but must have something better in there….

No hot water in the shower. No tub. No facial tissues. No hair dryer. Sink plunger was stuck. The dirty water would not drain out. The toilet seat wiggled. When the window air conditioner unit turned on, it sounded like an 18 wheeler drove by. The 2nd floor unit above my unit sounded like a bowling alley was above. The plastic after hours key card receptacle was falling of the front door which was locked during normal working hours. No receipt was issued.

Hotel is crappy. Walls are paper thin so you will hear the people in the room behind yours. There is also a door that connects both rooms together. They gave us a room that had peoples belongings inside. They moved us to a room with a broken tv and was filthy. Also read comments that stated the room had bed bugs which I probably should’ve checked the bed before sleeping. I ended up getting these bites on my legs while sleeping in bed. I suggest paying the extra 100 dollars and stay somewhere nice

really sucks bc it’s not even in a bad spot. we couldn’t even stay one night. stains on the mattress, the shower has black mold. paid 100$ deposit and 700$ for the weekend just to not be able to stay one night. needs to be shut down for health reasons

Positive: The location is great. Everything within walking distance. Barely had to use my vehicle to go anywhere. The staff were very nice. Negative: The satellite TV connection was terrible. Had to pay for parking in their parking lot or take the risk of being towed. Room was smaller than expected. NO OUTLETS TO PLUG ANYTHING IN! Only above bathroom mirror. So pack an extension cord.
