Spark by Hilton Ormond Beach Oceanfront

I had a really great experience at the hotel, and I especially want to recognize Jon for his excellent customer service. He was very helpful and professional during my stay. Jon took the time to assist me with signing up for Hilton Honors rewards and made sure everything was set up properly. Because of his support and attention, I even decided to extend my stay an extra night. He was very responsible and genuinely cared about making sure guests are taken care of. Team members like Jon make a big difference in the overall experience. I truly believe he deserves recognition and some extra credit for the great job he is doing.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Spark Ormond Beach by Hilton. The location is wonderful with all balcony rooms. It is obvious that the rooms have been remodeled- so a definite positive. The free breakfast is continental, and the bagels were delicious. Our room was clean and staff were amazing. Our first contact was Zach and he was stellar. When my husband went to front desk again, he met the manager John, who happened to be from my husband’s home town of Bayonne, NJ. John does a phenomenal job of seeing that the hotel runs smoothly. After all that, please remember that Spark provides an above basic experience for a basic price. It is great value for your money. Recently stayed at Spark Ormond Beach and had such a wonderful experience with this hotel. It’s got a fantastic location right on the beach and our room had such a great view. We could look right out on to the ocean. This was a girls trip/getaway and our rooms were a great size- lots of room for all of us to hang out. The rooms were clean and very comfortable for our stay. The beds were wonderful. We loved the friendly staff and the service they provided. We needed extra pillows and they were there in a flash. It truly was a great stay and we would all love to come back! Highly recommend this place.

Positive: Location and view. Negative: No hot water; no microwave or coffee maker in the room; tv channels required subscriptions; had to pay to park; hallways dirty and chipped; no hot tub.

We stayed at Spark Hilton for the month of January. My room was very clean, bed comfortable and a prefect view of the ocean. We only had a very small refrigerator while others had a larger one with a small freezer. A microwave would have been a nice addition. There is one in the lobby if needed. Very attentive front desk staff. Layne was outstanding and so great while she was training new hires. Zach was also very friendly. Mark and Justin were always a friendly smile and conversation no matter what they were doing. The pool area was always clean but would be amazing if you could find a way to keep the birds out of the pool. Everyday I woke up to a beautiful sunrise. I will miss all the wonderful staff, even those whose names I did not learn. Breakfast was a nice touch and always fresh.
