SouthSide RV Park

This is a hidden gem. It’s a great place for a stop over while traveling. Full hook ups, trash dumpster and even WiFi for 15.00 per night. It’s set up with a box to pay on the honor system and I hope everyone is honest. There were several people there when we arrived but still had a few open spots. The surrounding is open fields and so peaceful. The lot is gravel but level. There are even pull through sites. We slept great and felt safe.

Simple RV park with electricity and water. Sites are mainly flat. I did find that my first choice had a breaker that was not grounded properly per my surge protector. But there were other sites where the electric box works fine. Definitely worth the $15.

Passed through for the night and decided to stay here. The views were actually quite beautiful. The site seemed to be level for the most part and being a pull through made it nice. They have a honor system in place for payment and nightly stay was $15. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome place and you can’t beat the rates. The sunsets are beautiful. Basic hookup only and Mondays the antique garbage truck which is so cool swings by to pick up trash. Yes that old trash truck is a treasure that I hope never goes away!

If your doing Rt. 66, this is a great rest for the night spot! Simple, no fuss no muss! it was quiet and peaceful despite being so close to the road! Great little area to walk/run the dog a bit, and it appears everyone does a great job of cleaning up after their pets, because we saw no other signs of dogs before us! Full hook-ups for $15 and gravel pull through. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area!
