Sleep Inn & Suites Shamrock

We had a really long day of driving, and got in at 2 am. I called earlier and made the reservation, and it was a very easy checking and reservation. We got a 2 queen room on the pet free floor, (we're allergic to fur.) The rooms were quiet, clean, and there were no weird smells (these are my main issues in hotels, so I appreciate it when they are all good.) The room was nice, and bigger then expected. 2 queens, a pull out couch and a chair in the living area, a bathroom with a tub and shower. Breakfast was pretty standard, 6-9 am, mini muffins, waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Check out was at 11.

We stopped In Shamrock on way to NM. The hotel was a good place to stop for the night.|Friendly service, safe area and room was big, handicap room.|My husband is handicapped and was able to safely maneuver in hotel and room. The beds were comfortable and quiet. Shamrock is a very small town so limited restaurants, a McDonald’s is just up the hill across the street. We didn’t really look around as we got in late and left early.|The breakfast area has some hot food, typical hotel standards, nothing special.|We would stay again if in the area. We are Choice rewards members and used points for a free stay. I was not given any water upon check in as a member but that was ok.

The bed was excellent. The bath nice ‘n hot. And the real treasure was the service. From our first phone call prior to check-in to our checkout, we were well cared for and so very comfortable. It was a pleasure to have Elson at the front desk make sure we had everything we needed, and to witness his calm, respectful way he handled another client who was rude and surly. We’ll definitely stay here again when we pass through or visit Shamrock.

We've stayed at this location multiple times over the past 3 years. Initially, it was great so we kept returning. However, the location quality and cleanliness fallen significantly. This stay the shower glass and fixtures had easily noticed soap scum. The toilet paper was very cheap...the hard, thin stuff.

We travel with a black ligjt when we travel so to check for bugs, there were no bugs but just as bad when you see butt prints on the counter and foot prints along with bodily fluids that was not clean up. You would think that they would at least would have cleaned the counter, also found garbage on the floor. The breafest was very limited, have had better at other hotels were we paid less.For as much as you pay you would think it would have been cleaned properly and better maintenance done. The guy at the front desk was polite.
