South Texas Inn

I travel a lot, so to say this is the worst hotel I've ever been in says a lot. I'm not used to five star resorts or anything but good lord.||||I was there for work. My boss check me in using his credit card then left.||||Got to my room. The floor in front of the fridge and microwave had popcorn kernels everywhere. The shower had a razor with hair in it and hair by the drain. ||||Went to the front desk and said I want another room, this one was filthy. We walked up and had my show him the room. He tried to tell me it was fine. Seriously?! He showed me another room. I checked the bath tub and there was mold. I asked if all the rooms are dirty, he said they're clean. I bent down, wiped the mold with my finger and showed him, he still said it was clean. Then he said he'd just give me my money

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I just left this place because I was taking the blanket off (it had stains all over it) and I saw 3-4 roaches on the pillow and watched as they crawled away. I then continued to go and ask for my money back and he wouldn’t give me a refund. Absolutely do NOT recommend. It was DISGUSTING. Even if your in desperate need, there is a hotel little more down the way that charges less and was far more clean and decent.

I booked the room for 2 days over the internet. The next day I got to the hotel at approximately 4 pm. When I went to check in, I was told I didn't have a reservation. I had forgotten the confirmation sheet at work, so I called and was given the confirmation number. The owner/manager (?) still would not believe me. I finally got him to give me a room after a lot of grief. When I got into the room, I noticed how tacky it was. This hotel was supposed to have been renovated in 2007. The carpet was not tacked down, the bed sagged and was very, very firm, and the room smelled.|| When I tried to turn on the TV, the remote did not work, so I took it to the office. I was told they would fix it. I said I would come back in about 20 minutes to get it. About 10 minutes later there was a knock at the

Okay as soon as I got there the old owner told me that someone else had taken the room I had reserved pretending to be me. And the stupid owner never asked that person for an ID. So after this incedent I get a room and there is a roach on the bed, the carpet is not nailed properly so if you do happen to make one of the worst descisions of your life and come to this hotel keep your shoes on, I was bleeding on my foot. I informed the old man and he said there was nothing he could do. He also opened my door with a key to fix my toilet as it was clogged when I came with feces. The whole room smelled like feces. This is a filthy stinking hotel that I wouldn't even leave my dog in.

I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years. Yes it’s old but the price is unbeatable. The new management is great and actually exterminates for pests. 20 years ago you had to sleep in your clothes with your mouth shut for fear of bugs and disease.
