Positive: "" Negative: The couch was filthy, could not use. The shower curtain had a stain that looked like dry blood and there was 2 pills on the floor when we did our make sure we have everything check. Our kids could have gotten into those. Requested a refund

We stayed at South Shore Inn in Sandusky, Ohio for two nights while visiting Cedar Point for Halloween weekend, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were both quick and easy.||Our room was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated. The beds were very firm but freshly made, and we appreciated having plenty of towels, plus a mini fridge and microwave, which came in handy. There weren’t any luggage racks, but we used the chairs instead and it worked out fine.||All in all, a solid, affordable stay that fit our needs perfectly for a Cedar Point weekend. We’d definitely stay here again

Clean, comfortable, and friendly. ||Honestly, no complaints. It’s not a 5 star resort, but this property is budget friendly and independently owned - it had everything we needed while in town for a quick two night visit. ||The outdoor pool and hot tub were by far our favourite part of this property. The pool area, along with the rest of the grounds, were kept extremely clean and well maintained. There is a lovely seating area with string lights and picnic tables on the property as well. ||The staff were friendly, a basic breakfast was included, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Staying here tonight with my 4 year old, and I am very impressed how clean the rooms are. Spotless! Comfy beads, plenty of pillows! Right down the street from cedar point so great location. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning! A great place to stay deff worth it! :)

Had a great stay here for a couple days, Cedar Point trip. First time trying this place, we’ve stayed at many in the same price range that have gone down hill. South Shore didn’t disappoint and will be our new go to. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice property, and super close to the park. Beds were comfy, nothing special but slept well. We didn’t use the pool and hot tub but they looked nice. The only slight down side is the same with any of these style places - the walls are super thin. Could hear the TV and conversations next door.
