Bayfront Resort at Cross View

The perfect place to relax and unwind after enjoying Cedar Point and other area activities. The views are incredible (especially if you are a roller coaster nerd like myself), the cottages are clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient. I could just sit on the porch and watch the coasters run all day. If the breeze is in the right direction, you can even hear the coasters' roar and the park's train whistle. I recommend Cottage 1 for completely unobstructed views of the CP skyline, but Cottage 2, where I stayed, still had a great view of the back half of the park from the porch. All of the waterfront cottages have unobstructed views of the bay and the sunset, however. I loved every second of my stay, and I'll definitely return the next time I'm visiting Cedar Point.

Had a great experience at Bayfront! We stayed at one of the cottages on the grounds. It was perfect. The “tiny home” had a full fridge, stove, micro, dishwasher , plates, silverware, cookware, coffeemaker, abundant linens & towels, etc… every detail was thought of including a cute beach bag & towels for the pool along with a grill set & lighter for the charcoal grill outside. In the evening we enjoyed grilling & sitting around the fire table surrounded by the lake and a beautiful view in the background. |The kids enjoyed being outside & fishing steps away. The grounds were beautifully kept, awesome pool, and all the staff we encountered were very nice & helpful. |Much better option than staying in an overpriced hotel in the area. We had 4 RV spots plus the cottage, and everything was spotless. The pool and clubhouse were clean and so much fun, and the cottage was perfect with bunks, a loft, and laundry in the unit. Great views after long days, super convenient location, fast WiFi, and plenty of food delivery options nearby. Perfect for a family trip!

Our second time staying here and it’s great. We had a little battle with mayflies and goose poop but the campground was well equipped. Cleaning up the poop multiple times a day and blowing off our camper from hundreds of bugs when we were ready to pull in the slides and head home. Location, views, friendly people all A+.

A very lovely campground, especially on the bay side. Our site was not on the water, but we still had a nice view. It is gated, so we felt very safe. Paved roads, perfect for walking the pooch. Although we did not use the bathhouse and pool, they looked very nice.
