Holiday Inn Express & Suites Arlington (I-20-Parks Mall) by IHG

First off, I want to tell you that the people working there were very helpful. Very friendly. Highly recommend on that alone. Got a handicap room . Thought handicap rms should be on the first floor near the front or thereabout . it was on the third floor, AKA top floor. Guess it was quieter up there? Or they converted it?. But room we stayed in was right by the elevator which was convenient. That said, room number was not in chronological order so it was hard to find at first but it was right there by the elevator which was nice. Just had to walk down the hall back and forth to find the number and then as we went back to the elevator I saw the room across from the elevator. Don't know why it's like that. Positive: Location Negative: It's NOT a dislike.....More like "You get what you pay for". I experienced a couple of issues with the room. 1) The toilet handle/inside components were not working properly allowing the toilet to run all day/night. The shower did not drain properly.

I had a good stay at this hotel. Check-in was swift and efficient — Paula at the front desk was polite and professional, and the entire process took less than five minutes. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which was a nice touch. At first glance, the room was clean: fresh bedding, a tidy bathroom, and everything in order. The only downside was a few bugs I had to deal with — not ideal, but manageable. Breakfast was just okay. The food was cold, unfortunately, but the breakfast area itself was clean and well-stocked. A hot, fresh breakfast would’ve made a big difference. Parking was decent, though the front lot fills up quickly, so you may have to park around back. We read reviews so we stayed here night before our flight home. Checking in we were told no hot water until 5pm. We stayed on top floor away from freeway. We turned on AC then noticed the carpet was soaked around it. Then, the thunderstorms started. The winds and rains slammed the trees against our windows. Was so loud and scary. Those trees need to be cut back! Also the main elevator was not working. Had to walk down to the end of hallway to take the other one.

We have stayed here before , I can not believe this is the same place. Room smells like pet urine, tv screen blue , lamp shade big whole in the front. If I wanted motel 6 I would have made a reservation, you don’t even compare to motel 6 . Can I please attach pictures?
