Staff members were pleasant enough. The room was extremely small, and the shower so small that it was difficult to maneuver, and I am not a large person. caulking round the shower was moldy and gross. It had a full size bed rather than a queen. The bathroom is tiny. The toilet was not cleaned sufficiently, as there was fecal matter on the seat. I brought disinfect and wiped it down. I did appreciate the broom and dustpan in the room to clean sand off the floor, and I did appreciate the laminate floor rather than carpeting as it is easier to clean and sanitize. The outside patio was decent with two nice chairs, however Lake Michigan was obscured by a berm, so was not visible. There were games and books available in the library, which is nice for rainy days and children. The room w

Ok, i booked this place for its location... 1st time in Ludington. From the outside, one would go, wow! But here is the kicker, once you get into the room, you see how sparse the amenities are. The bathroom is small. The shower is a joke. I took an Amtrak sleeper cross-country, and the shower is about that size! If you drop the soap or the washcloth, good luck. I think the place was designed when showers were a curiosity. It is a joke. I'm about 300lb and tall. If you are bigger, steer clear because you will not fit! Another point is that all of the furniture is hard! The room had the equivalent of 'library chairs". The only soft piece of furniture was the bed, so if you want to sit and read/work/play on your computer or game device, be prepared to stack a bunch of towels under yo

We were so lucky to get a room with a lake view on short notice. We had a compact shower ground level 1 bed. It was great over all. Pool & hot tub were a nice bonus. The only downfall for myself and my travel buddy were we could have used more towels, and the pillows needed to be replaced. Other than that, wonderful and will most definitely be back! Great location, very friendly and can't be the water being steps away.

😊: Location of motel is great! The room we had was awful. The toilet is very tiny, unable to move around much. It is perfect for one person, definitely not more. The lady who was there was very pleasant and friendly 😊 the gentleman, not so much.. 😢: We could have had a better room, but we did make it work for the short time we were there..

I’ve been summering in ludington since I was a kid.. and I’ve always wanted to stay at Synders shoreline inn.. it did not disappoint! We booked a suite with a balcony that overlooked Lake Michigan. Beautiful views, comfortable beds, fun pool, walking distance to town and sterns beach. And guess what, super friendly staff! That’s always so important. Will be back!
