Sleep Inn & Suites Athens South

It was a convenient 10 minute drive to the UGA campus where we attended my daughters graduation ceremony. The location was surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores and gas. As a Choice Premium member, I've stayed at various Choice hotels. This is the first visit to a Sleep Inn. It was compact but had all the amenities that Choice hotels offers; however, the upgrades to our room seemed to be aligned with the upgrades done to the public areas. No problem. The problem lies in the King Suite itself. There was no additional blankets and pillows in the room. What was on the bed was all there was - nothing in the closet, etc... There was a spot under the TV that could have stored additional linens, but there was nothing. When I went downstairs, they had no pillows to give me, just

The staff is very kind and accommodating! The breakfast is awesome the biscuits are amazing I haven’t been to a hotel with a good breakfast since I was a kid! The pool is a little small but it was perfect for the kids and we always had it to ourselves! Very very clean rooms. This hotel was central to everything in Athens and I really enjoyed the stay.

We had such a horrible experience. The first day we came, the bedsheets were dirty that we had to move to another room. The room that we were moved to had a problem with the sink drain. We reported it and we were told that maintained would come fix it by the end of the day. When we came back to the room at the end of the day the sink was never fixed, and housekeeping didn't even come to clean the room or replace any towels or bedsheets. We had to call in order for them to get someone to clean. I haven't even mentioned the beds creaking and were just uncomfortable to sleep on, or the carpets that smelled bad. Overall it was just a terrible experience, I would not recommend anyone booking a room here.

The room was dirty in the shower, toilet and other places, including the phone. And the “transgender” male really scared me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and I do not want to do business with a company that doesn’t understand the basics of gender and cleanliness.

The staff were all so good that I felt like we were staying with Ftiends. Especially: Danielle and Tabatha and Diane. I will stay again plus pass on good reports to my friends n family.
