Sleep Inn Sandusky

The shampoo container in the shower was empty. The hotel was dirty, There were dried boogers on the bathroom door. Every surface in the hotel had handprints on them which means no one ever wipes surfaces off. The only good thing I can say is that the lobby clerk was a hard worker and was very patient having to handle the front desk and the breakfast bar.

Very polite and helpful staff. The rooms seem to be clean but a little ran down. The breakfast was absolutely on point even though there are very few guests currently due to a blizzard. The pool area is very nice with the hot tub doing hot tub things!!! As we rented this room to enjoy to pool and exercise room you can imagine we were slightly disappointed to find debris and actively dripping water on the treadmills. Overall I would recommend this hotel unless you need the exercise room.

Positive: Nothing. Negative: Waited 10 minutes for desk person to check in, wi-fi did not work the entire time I stayed, shower was never hot---just luke warm water, no breakfast except toast and Danish rolls----no milk-butter-hot foods-etc., room had ceiling damage in main area.

This place was very peaceful. Close to lots of things. Room was awesome, bathtub was relaxing and warm. Pool room and hot tub were amazing. Only real disappointment was we paid full price for a room thinking we would have access to a workout room which was advertised. Get here, work out room is open so we get ready head down, to walk into a completely unusable workout room. Roof caving in, debris on treadmill. I don’t think this is safe to have open to the public like this.

We were on a 2-day trip to Cedar Point, and we started looking for suitable hotels in the Sandusky area. We stumbled upon Sleep Inn Sandusky and it had some good reviews so we ended up picking it for the night. The room was very clean and very comfortable and everything was working as it should. The bathroom was also very clean and had plenty of towels and other toiletries for our leisure. The breakfast was great in the morning, and overall the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our family definitely enjoyed this hotel and we will be returning very soon.
