Sleep Inn Matthews - Charlotte

We stayed at the Sleep Inn Matthews in room 420 this past weekend and found it to be an excellent value. The rooms were clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. Tina at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming, and the rest of the staff were friendly as well. Breakfast was fresh each morning, the dining area was clean, and the breakfast attendant was very pleasant.

We had a great stay at this hotel. This was our second time visiting, and we noticed a huge improvement, mainly due to the new management. The front desk staff was very welcoming, the rooms were extremely clean with no odors, and the staff overall was attentive and professional. We will definitely continue to stay here during our travels to Charlotte. Highly recommend.

The price and staff were great but the entire hotel smelled like marijuana the entire stay. Drug dealers walking around all night doing “business” publicly which was hard to explain to my children. Breakfast was nearly nothing and put away way before 9am, coffee station was empty at 830am. Shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty entire stay and not refilled during during housekeeping only trash taken out.

Not really business trip, but we had to bring our little dog for cataract surgery at the nearby Animal Eye Clinic.||Location was about a 15 minute drive (non interstate) from her hospital. Several restaurants in walking distance.||Check in was quick and pleasant. ||Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Beds and bed linen were very comfortable as well. The room apparently had a recent make over with nice vinyl flooring in the room and new tile in the bathroom.||Breakfast was adequate. Coffee was good.||Sleep Inn was 1 of 2 hotels in the area which were pet friendly. Their pet policy was much more reasonable, charging only per night ( she had to spend the second night in the hospital. )||Our stay was a good value for what we needed. And, our little dog is recovering well.

Genuinely had a great stay at this Sleep in, the staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and organized, and everything was smooth from check-in to check-out I was even surprised about how clean the elevator was. Great location and solid breakfast too. Would definitely stay again!
